Gala Lab Corp. (CEO: Hyun Soo Kim, Seongnam, Korea), a consolidated subsidiary of Gala, has signed a contract with a famous educational institution in Korea to provide a service called 「UVERSE」, which has been developed jointly with LG Uplus Corp. (CEO: Hwang Hyeon Sik, Seoul, Korea) and Megazone Corporation (CEO: Jihwang Chang, Seoul, Korea)., have signed contracts with renowned educational institutions in Korea and are preparing to provide the service.


1. Overview of the contract with the six universities of  「UVERSE」
On December 12, 2022, our consolidated subsidiary Gala Lab Corp. signed a business partnership agreement with LG Uplus, a large Korean telecommunications company, and Megazone, Korea's No. 1 cloud operation agency, to develop a metaverse platform that can provide universities and other educational institutions with dedicated spaces such as university classrooms, libraries, and permanent public relations offices, which are community spaces for students, in a virtual space, and launched the service of the metaverse campus platform 「UVERSE」 on April 5, 2023.
This time, we signed contracts with six universities in Korea - Sookmyung Women's University, Yonsei University, Cheongju University, Soonchunhyang University, Jeonju National University of Education, and Korea National Open University - and are preparing to start providing the service (negotiations with one other university are currently underway).

2. Overview of 「UVERSE」
「UVERSE」 is a cloud-based service that significantly reduces the burden on construction costs. Unlike existing BC Metaverse services that provide only standard space on a prepared map, 「UVERSE」 is a virtual space that mirrors reality as it is, with dedicated space specific to each school and essential functions for classes and school life. 「UVERSE」 can be accessed through a dedicated website without installing a separate application, and has the sustainability to be used from pre-entry to post-graduation activities, as well as the security of being accessible only by authorized students, faculty, and staff. The representative feature of 「UVERSE」 is the "UVERSE Auditorium", which can simultaneously accommodate more than 1,000 people at a time, making it suitable for facilitating large lectures and various on-campus events. Voting can proceed for participants, and presenters and participants can also communicate interactively in a question-and-answer session. One of the other functions, the "UVERSE Counseling Room," allows users to utilize their avatars to receive psychological counseling on campus life as well as admission and employment. Users can also enjoy various social activities such as chatting using their avatars and managing followers and following.

3. Upcoming schedules
